MyBenefits Service Center will continue to accept elections and voice mail messages regarding enrollment through 11:59 pm CT on June 1, 2017. Please note, every attempt will be made to return calls as soon as possible so that any members still awaiting a response from MyBenefits Service Center can complete their elections. Messages left by 11:59 pm CT on June 1 will have their Benefit Choice elections processed.

The fiscal year 2018 Benefit Choice Period is May 1 through May 31, 2017, for SURS active members as well as annuitants and survivors not enrolled in the Medicare Advantage ‘TRAIL’ Program. This is the only time of the year, other than when you experience a “qualifying change in status,” that you may change your coverage.

Members will view and make changes to their coverage through the MyBenefits website at Paper enrollment forms will not be provided for this year’s open enrollment. Members will access this website by using the ID assigned by the Department of Central Management Services. If a members does not have their ID and wishes to log in, they will be able to retrieve it through the website’s self-authentication process. Members will also have the option to call a customer service representative for further assistance or to enroll over the phone, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST, toll free at 1-844-251-1777 or TTY toll free at 1-844-251-1778.

Each Benefit Choice Option Book includes: a list of changes that you may make during the election period, health plan descriptions, a health plan coverage map by county and monthly contribution costs.
