The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide office furniture, delivery and installation services for our office located in Champaign, IL. SURS will execute a fixed price contract with the selected firm for the project. Firms should also submit a proposed hourly rate for any unexpected or additional work that SURS may require during or after the project is complete.
SURS prefers a quality economy brand such as HON but will consider other brands. The name of a certain brand, make or manufacturer or allusion to thereof does not restrict vendors to the specific brand, make or manufacturer; it conveys the general style, type, character, and quality of the product desired. Any product which SURS in its sole discretion determines to be equal of the specified, considering quality, workmanship, materials, economy of operation and suitability for the purpose intended, shall be accepted. Vendors should propose products from manufacturers that will best serve SURS’ needs in providing an ergonomically safe and pleasant work environment for their employees.
