The meeting of the Claims Panel Committee of the Board of Trustees of the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) convened on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. 

Closed Session – Claims Panel Deliberations

Hearing Officer Clifford made a motion to move into closed session, pursuant to §2(c)(4) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, to consider the evidence and testimony presented in open session in the claim of Kevin Nagle. Trustee Pitman seconded the motion which passed via the roll call vote referenced below:

Ms. Clifford – aye
Ms. Mayer – aye
Trustee Pitman – aye

The following persons were present during closed session for the deliberations of the Mr. Kevin Nagle claim: Ms. Carolyn Clifford, Hearing Officer; Ms. Suzanne Mayer, Executive Director; Trustee Herbert Pitman and Ms. Annette Ackerman, Executive Assistant. A verbatim recording was made of the closed session.

The members of the Claims Panel reviewed and deliberated upon the evidence and testimony received in open session in the pending claim of Mr. Kevin Nagle.

Return to Open Session

Upon completion of the closed session deliberations, the Claims Panel returned to open session, at approximately 1:09 p.m.
