The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) convened on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.

This meeting was held via remote access only due to COVID-19 statewide restrictions

The following trustees were present: Mr. Collin Van Meter, vice-chair; Dr. Fred Giertz, and Mr. Mitch Vogel.
Others present: Ms. Suzanne Mayer, Interim Executive Director; Ms. Bianca Green, General Counsel; Ms. Kelly Carson, Executive Assistant; Ms. Carolyn Clifford of Ottosen, DiNolfo, Hasenbalg & Castaldo, and Mr. Michael Calabrese of Foley and Lardner.

Executive Committee roll call attendance was taken. Trustee Atkinson, absent; Trustee Van Meter, present; Trustee Giertz, present; Trustee Lyons, absent; and Trustee Vogel, present.
The Executive Committee went into closed session at 3:45 p.m.

Consideration of Evidence Presented In Open Hearing
Rock Valley College Claim

Attorney Carolyn Clifford reported on the claim filed by Rock Valley College that is on appeal to the Executive Committee. Ms. Clifford and Mr. Michael Calabrese reviewed all the evidence presented to the Executive Committee and answered questions posed by the trustees.

The committee resumed to open session at 5:11 p.m.
