Is it possible to repay my Separation Refund at a later date?

For Traditional or Portable plans:

If you take a Separation Refund and then return to become an active member of SURS or a reciprocal system, you may reinstate your service credit after contributing for at least two years. You will need to repay the amount of your refund plus interest.

For Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) :

If you take a Separation Refund and then return to become an active member of SURS or a reciprocal system, you may reinstate your service credit after contributing for at least two years. You will need to repay the amount of the original refund.
