The SURS LIS is a custom date target fund that is composed of a non-secured income portfolio and a secured income portfolio (SIP). During your early working years, contributions go to the non-se-cured portfolio. Approximately 15 years prior to your target retirement age, contributions automatically begin transitioning to the secure income portfolio.
