Vacation – Twelve days a year minimum for non-exempt employees, 25 days a year minimum for exempt employees
Sick Leave – Twelve days per year
Parental Leave – Available for employees after six months of employment following the birth, release of a newborn from a healthcare facility to the home or upon placement or legal adoption of a child under age 18

New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Two floating holidays after six months of employment.

Life Insurance – State paid term life insurance equal to 100% of employee’s annual salary

Employee contributes 8% of salary; benefits include retirement, disability, death and survivorship
Employees have the option to choose between the Traditional SURS plan, Portable SURS plan, or Retirement Savings Plan (RSP)
Optional Payroll Deductions
Dependent Care Program (DCAP) – Employee can defer up to $5,000 of their income in pre-tax contributions to pay for dependent care (daycare) expenses for the FY25 plan year period.
Medical Care Assistance Program (MCAP) – Employee can set aside pre-tax contributions for eligible health, dental and vision expenses up to $3,200 for the FY25 plan year period.
Health Savings Account (HSA) –Tax-favored, interest-bearing account to pay for qualified medical expenses now, or in the future
